TRAINING
Firstly, I'd like to say a massive well done to all players new & old. Your commitment to training has been excellent this year. Neither rain nor wind is keeping you away...in fact I think, Turbulent Tues, a fortnight ago, was one of the most well attended practices we've had this academic year - you rock! For all you fragile folk, it's time to leave the nest and rustle those feathers...
Sessions this week:
* Mon 5-6pm, Women only - Indoors @ the sports centre
* Mon 8-9:30pm, All welcome - Outdoors @ Gateshead International
Stadium
* Tues 8-9:30pm, All welcome - Outdoors @ Gateshead International
Stadium
* Wed 7-9am, Women's Indoor Squad only - Indoors @ the sports
centre
* Wed 2-4pm, All welcome - Outdoors @ Exhibition Park
* Thurs 7-9am, Open Indoor Nationals squad only - Indoors
@ the sports centre
2 points:
1. Attendance has been really good at both GATESHEAD sessions, please keep
it up. Remember it's cold up North, so do bring lots of warm clothes (include
a light & a dark shirt for games). Also, the earlier you arrive the more
you can throw beforehand. Keep up the good work!
2. Mon, Tues & Wed sessions are all specifically aimed at improving your
skills, getting fitter...& of course adult humour.
* Fri 6-8pm, All welcome - Indoors @ the sports centre
* Sun 2-4pm, All welcome - Outdoors @ Exhibition Park
Fri & Sun sessions are not stuctured...adult humour is aloud too.
Cheers,
Mat
*To play Indoors you need to be a member of sports centre - instructions are in the last email or can be found in emails below.
**Gateshead International Stadium sessions are specifically for those who want to improve their game - all members are welcome. For those who don't know how to get there, we will meet just before 7:30pm outside the Union, to catch the metro to Gateshead Stadium - please be on time.
To all players new and old if you are planning to practise or play tournaments with us, you need to sign up to our club. Ideally, you need to do this before you attend your next practice.
